BBS is seeking a handy person to join the team and work within the business as a full-time permanent role, to assist in both live project construction activities and provide aftercare when each project reaches its 12 month defects period. This will include but is not limited to brickwork, drylining, carpentry and decorating repairs. As the tasks imply, you will need to be multi-skilled and can tackle all manner of jobs which may be asked of you.
All mechanical and electrical works will be undertaken by other specialist contractors employed by BBS.
A City & Guilds qualification would be preferrable, but is not essential to this role. However, you will need a valid CRB certificate, as some of the projects you will be involved with, will have interface with at risk groups whilst carrying out aftercare duties. A valid CSCS card will also be advantageous. We are seeking an individual who is dependable, experienced, friendly and can interact with external clients and our site teams.
