This year's Chartway Group nominated charities were Air Ambulance Kent Surrey Sussex and Maidstone Day Centre. In support of these charities this Christmas, BBS took part two fundraising events:
Christmas Attire Day - On 12 December we held our Christmas Attire Day where all staff (office and site) were invited along with subcontractors, to wear whatever Christmas themed clothing they owned to work for the day. Items worn ranged from some sexy robin socks, a Christmas tree pants, Santa hats and of course, the more traditional Christmas jumpers. The event was a great success and raised a grand total of £100.71 for the Air Ambulance.
Food and clothing donations for the homeless - This time of year, the homeless and vulnerable are desperate for both warm clothing and food. BBS donated a small mountain of food and several bags of clothing to nominated charity, Maidstone Day Centre. Items that were greatly received by the local charity just in time for the festive period.
